Baba Yaga, Paper Birds, Paper Beast & More Make Raindance Immersive’s 2020 Selection

-

Last week’s Venice VR Expanded was a great example of why virtual reality (VR) festivals work so well as an online format. If you happen to have missed that particular event then not to worry as Raindance Immersive will be holding a similar one next month for everyone at home to enjoy.

Baba Yaga

The festival is set to feature the best and brightest from the VR space, mixing content up between videogames, documentaries, narrative pieces and more. Some you may be familiar with whilst others are entirely new. Videogames like Paper Beast, Down the Rabbit Hole, Ven VR Adventure, Rinlo and Rhythm of the Universe: Ionia will be playable; Il Dubbio – Episode 1, HUSH and Another Dream are some of the documentaries; whilst Dr. Crumb’s School For Disobedient Pets and The Under: Tempest provide theatrical performances.

To watch all of these and more Raindance Immersive 2020 is using a variety of platforms. So Viveport will have all the PC VR experiences (20 in total) and VRChat will be used for eight immersive worlds. Four titles will be accessible via Oculus Quest – use Oculus Link for the Viveport content – and there will even be an immersive audio experience available for iPhone/Android devices.

Raindance Immersive 2020 will take place between 28th October – 15th November, entirely digital and free to experience.
